The Futrells’ usually show their gardens in the spring when all the beautiful spring ephimerals and bulbs are blooming. This year they wanted to show some of the beautiful fall flowering plants in their informal gardens that are a mix of natives, perennials, bulbs and annuals. The shaded back yard is well suited for all the spring wildflowers such as Virginia Bluebells, Trillium, Bloodroot, Dwarf Larkspur and others. The front yard is a mix of sun and shade natives, perennials, shrubs, and annuals. Chrysanthemums, Asters, Solidago, Salvias, Coleus and Lantanas have been putting on a show. No Rain Date but if it is just overcast the garden will still be open to view.
