Author: Aldo Leopold
The book under discussion will be Aldo Leopold's seminal work A Sand County Almanac. Often called the father of modern conservation, Leopold wrote many essays on conservation topics and several of those other writings are contained in this 1949 book. His ideas were so far ahead of their time they have remained relevant across the 71-year span since the book's first publication.
