Paul Prill will give a presentation on
Mitigating the Effects of Climate Change
We assume that climate change is inevitable, and we worry that we can do little to nothing to stop it. We will explore ways that plants adapt to climate change as well as identify specific changes we can make in our gardening tasks to assist that adaptation.
Paul is a retired professor and active community member in Nashville, TN. He is a Master Gardner (Davidson County), holds a Certificate in Native Plants from the Wild Ones Tennessee Valley Chapter, and is a certified Tennessee Naturalist. His home is a certified wildlife habitat that boasts over 100 native species. His efforts have been showcased on several garden tours including an episode of the public television show Volunteer Gardener in August 2024.
We’ll continue our popular Freebie/Swap Table, so if you have any native plants, seeds, nature-related books, or other treasures you wish to re-home, please bring them along.
Everyone is welcome!
