Ivan Chester is the owner of Habitat Landscapes -- a company that has been designing and installing native landscapes for six years. He will give a presentation on
"No Mow Lawns: Transform your lawn into a thriving habitat"
Ivan will discuss the advantages of converting lawn to wild habitat. His presentation will also cover site preparation; lists of native plants that do well in sun, shade, and low-growing plants that can support light foot traffic; Nashville Metro government's Intentional Design application that can help prevent code citations for those in Davidson County; matrix planting; and, maintenance of it all.
